I’ve always dreamed about going to the Tsavo National Park in East Africa to see the lions keeping watch over the migrating herds from their rock fortresses.
Strike that from my bucket list!
On an outing towards Pretoriuskop one morning we decided to take the S10 loop road that snakes around the Shabeni hills, and were rewarded with this pride of young lions draping themselves over one of the huge basalt monoliths that make up the Shabeni landmark.
Great location, wonderful lighting and cooperative subject matter!
Who needs to go to Kenya?
